Nogaro Preview
29th September 2008
The Scuderia Ecosse team will be hoping that the promise of warmer conditions
at the southern French circuit of Nogaro this weekend, will boost their chances
of scooping maximum points from Round 8 of the FIA GT Championship.
The team has pulled out all the stops to ensure that the car is in peak race
condition as the season draws towards its conclusion in November. During a
busy few weeks back at team HQ car 62 has been significantly modified and heads
out to Nogaro with the latest 2008 aero package, a fresh engine and having
had the benefit of some valuable technical input and advice from Michelotto.
As the team’s trucks rolled out of the Scuderia Ecosse HQ, team principal
Stewart Roden commented, “We have known for some time now that the engine
we had been running was not performing as it should. Therefore since Brno we
have spent a considerable amount of time and effort overhauling key parts of
the car and we are now heading for Nogaro with a car that I believe is capable
of reaching its full potential.”
Keep right up to date with the Team’s progress this weekend with the
extensive TV coverage now being offered during the 2008 season. The TV Schedule
