Half Way There: Hour 12 Race Report

As the clock struck 4am at a wet and damp Spa circuit the Scuderia Ecosse
team continued to make headway with their battle in the Ferrari dominated GT2
class. With 259 laps completed and a solid 6th place being held by Jamie Davies,
Fabio Babini and Ferdinando Monfardini reaching this mid point in the race
is an astonishing achievement.
Intermittent rain showers made the first half a trying time for the mechanics
after a high speed spin from Fabio Babini as he exited Raidillon. With swift
pit work car '62' was very soon back on track and fighting fit once again.
The next twelve hours will be just as tough but all the team are in good spirits
and looking forward to dawn breaking on this famous race.
