Smooth and Fast is the Key to Oschersleben
3rd July 2008
The Oschersleben circuit in northern Germany near Magdeburg, will host the
4th round of the FIA GT Championship this weekend.
Qualifying duties will be in the capable hands of Jamie Davies, and before
heading out to Germany for this weekend’s race he said “Oschersleben
is a fun circuit to drive but it can also be quite tricky. The difficulty is
in getting the perfect set-up and balance for the race. It is normally a physically
tough race due to the heat and the fact that there are no long straights for
rest breaks. I finished 3rd in 2007, but I am confident we can better that
result with Scuderia Ecosse this year”.
Scuderia Ecosse team principal Stewart Roden commented “The team are
doing a fantastic job and each day we are edging closer to our first 2008 podium
position. Oschersleben will be a tough race, but with the latest tyre developments
from Pirelli, and following on from the impressive race pace we showed at Adria,
we are confident of a good result on Sunday”.
Keep right up to date with the Team’s progress this weekend with the
extensive TV coverage now being offered during the 2008 season. The TV Schedule
for the UK is as follows: Live FIA GT qualifying will be shown on Men&Motors
